Types of Energy
Energy is the ability of to do something or work. It can't be define in one word or sentence. If I start to talk about I can talk/ write more. In shortly, energy is the quantitative property that can be transferred from an object to another in order to do work. The Law of Conservation be -
"Energy can be converted in form but not created or destroyed."
Here I talk about some energy that can we observed. So, let's start -
1. Mechanical Energy :
Mechanical energy is one kind of energy that can be found when an object is in moving condition. Mechanical energy is the sum of kinetic energy and potential energy.
Ex : It can be an example of mechanical energy that when a car is moving it is kinetic energy. But when it remains stable condition, it can be an example of potential energy.
2. Kinetic Energy :
Kinetic energy is the energy when an object is in movable. It ranges from 0 to (+) positive value. It always remembers that the value of kinetic energy is never been in negative.

3. Potential Energy :
Potential energy is stored in an object when the object is stable.
Ex : is already given here.
4. Gravitational Energy :
This types of energy being associated with gravity involves the attraction between two objects based on mass. It can serve as a basis for mechanical energy.
Ex : Gravitational energy hold the atmosphere to the earth. The moon moves around the earth on the basis of gravitational energy.
5. Thermal Energy/ Heat Energy :
Thermal energy / Heat energy reflects the temperature difference between two systems.
Ex : Anyone can generate heat by rubbing hand. Another ex. of feat energy be Cup of a hot tea/coffee/water etc.
6. Chemical Energy :
Chemical energy is the result of chemical reactions between atoms or molecules. There are different types of chemical energy such as electrochemical energy and chemiluminescence.
Ex : To produce NH3, there is 92 KJ heat is generated. This energy is chemical energy. If we mixed H2O in CaCo3 there also produce chemical energy. Different types of Battery is also a example of chemical energy.
7. Ionization Energy :
Ionization energy is the form of energy that bind electrons to the nucleus of its atom, ion or molecule.
Ex : The first ionization energy of an atom is the energy needed to remove one electron completely. The second ionization energy is energy to remove a second electron and is greater than that required to remove the first electron.
8. Sonic Energy :
Sonic energy is the energy of sound waves. Sound waves can travel through the air or another medium.
Ex : anyone voice, sonic bomb. Bat can fly using sonic energy. People can also determine the depth of the Ocean using sonic energy.
9. Nuclear Energy :
Nuclear energy is energy resulting from changes in the atomic nuclei or from nuclear reactions.
Ex : Nuclear fusion, nuclear fission & nuclear decay.
10. Electromagnetic Energy :
Electromagnetic energy is the energy that is form light to electromagnetic waves.
Ex : Radio wave, Gamma-ray, X-ray, UV ray etc.
11. Elastic Energy :
Energy stored in an object due to its compression or extension.
Ex : When a spring compressed it stored energy to go back to the previous state. When anybody extend an elastic it saves energy to go back to the previous state.
12. Electrical Energy :
The energy which causes the movement of electrons from one place to another such as the type of energy is called electrical energy. In other word, electrical energy is the work done by the movement of charges.
Ex : Power plant, Battery, Generator, UPS, IPS etc.
